Wind Energy farm in Hebei, China
This Wind Farm project mitigates greenhouse gas emissions through generation of renewable energy by 33 wind turbines of 1.5 MW output in the district of Hebei, China. The project activity reduces an estimate of 96,650 tons of CO2 annually from electricity generation by fossil fuel power plants that supply the Hebei Southern Power Grid, which is an integral part of the North China Power Grid.
This wind project fulfils two sustainable development goals (SDGs) that contribute to giving access to affordable and sustainable energy for the communities in the area and generating employment opportunities and economic growth in the region.
